Revolution in empties logistics: The rolltainer® with plug-in system

FEIL sets new standards in the compaction of empties with the revolutionary rolltainer® with plug-in system. The basis is a high-quality plastic rolltainer made of robust HDPE material. The innovative plug-in system enables fast and systematic compaction of empties. Up to four side racks can be firmly inserted in the middle, while a further four side racks can be flexibly positioned in between. Four additional plastic roller plates can be stowed to the left and right of the inserted side racks.

This well thought-out mechanism offers decisive advantages:

• Optimum compaction of empties: Compared to conventional compaction of empties, the capacity utilization of each storage space can be increased by up to 150 %. Up to five rolltainers can be stored in one space.
• High work safety: The fixed slots for up to four side racks ensure a safe work process.
• sustainable storage and transport of empties: efficient compaction reduces storage and transport volumes, which contributes to more sustainable logistics.
• Compatibility with existing systems: The new roller plate is 100% compatible with existing FEIL components. There is no need to purchase new side rails – side rails with a lockable step fall bar are ideal.
• Flexible storage: Only side rails can be stored in the roller plate.

The rolltainer® with plug-in system is equipped with Ø 108 mm polypropylene castors (two swivel castors / two fixed castors) and is available in three different usable heights. The side rails are made of robust Ø 22 mm round tube with a 12 x 3 mm flat iron infill and have a horizontal, central cross tube (Ø 16 mm). The side rails are galvanized blue to protect against corrosion. Optionally, swivel castors with central brakes and/or central directional brakes can be fitted on both sides.

Environmentally friendly alternatives to wrapping film

In addition to efficient transport solutions, FEIL attaches great importance to sustainability and climate protection. To reduce the consumption of conventional wrapping film when securing loads in two- and three-sided roll containers, FEIL offers three innovative, more environmentally friendly alternatives:

• Pacture: A reusable cover made of robust material that is slipped over the side rails and encloses the entire rolltainer.
• Roll-Safe: A thin hollow chamber panel that is attached to the open sides of the rolltainer using tensioning straps with hooks and closes them. When not in use, Roll-Safe can be hooked onto the side rails to save space.
• Security grid: A robust construction that is fixed to the side grid on one side with double hinges made of high-quality plastic and then locked in place with tensioning straps. When not in use, the safety grid can also be folded onto the side rails and secured there.

These alternatives significantly reduce the consumption of single-use plastic and make an important contribution to protecting the environment and conserving resources.
